Video Guide: Step-by-Step Installation
Part 1: Disassembly Procedure
Step 1: Pry Off Dashboard Side Trim Strips
Use a plastic pry tool to gently unclip and remove both the left (engine start button area) and right side trim panels along the center console.

Step 2: Remove Left & Right Retaining Screws
Unscrew the fixed retaining screws on both the left and right sides exposed after removing the trim strips.

Step 3: Pry Open Control Panel & Pull Out Factory Radio Head Unit
Carefully pry open the main climate control/radio panel, then pull out the original CD radio head unit chassis forward to expose the rear connectors.

Step 4: Unscrew Retaining Bolts & Pry Off Top Screen Panel
Remove the top retaining screws above the cavity, then use the pry tool to detach the top factory screen frame housing.

Step 5: Extract Original Top Display Screen
Disconnect the plug behind the upper display screen and carefully lift out the original Acura factory display assembly.

Part 2: Wiring Connections & Critical Notes
Step 6: Secure Base Mount, Connect Ribbon Cable & Apply Protective Tape
Fix the screen mounting base in place. With the ignition completely off, clamp the flexible ribbon cable firmly into the board connector, then stick black cloth tape over the connector interface for strain relief.

Step 7: Connect Armrest AUX Cable & Switch Factory Source
Plug the provided AUX cable into the 3.5mm AUX jack inside the center armrest storage box. Switch the original Acura radio source to "AUX" to enable digital sound output from the Android unit.

Step 8: Connect Main Harness, Display Adapter & CANbus Wiring
Connect the CD adapter harness, plug the main power connector into the original top display screen adapter harness, and secure all key button connections behind the radio frame.
Final Installation Result
Reassemble all climate control panels and side trim strips. Turn on ignition to experience the high-definition 12.3-inch floating Android touchscreen system.
