How to Install Wireless CarPlay
on Your Porsche Macan (2010–2018)
Your Porsche Macan's factory PCM system supports wired CarPlay — but fumbling for a cable every time you get in the car is no way to drive a Porsche. This step-by-step guide shows you exactly how to install the Roadnavier Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto screen module and leave the cable behind for good.
Product Overview
The Roadnavier Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto module is engineered specifically for the 2010–2018 Porsche Macan. It replaces the factory centre-screen with a direct plug-and-play unit — no wire cutting, no coding, no dealer visit required. The built-in Wi-Fi 6 chip detects your phone the moment you open the door, connecting automatically in under two seconds.

Before You Start
Remove the ignition key and wait at least 5 minutes before touching any electrical connections. This allows the capacitors to fully discharge and protects the factory control units. If your vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty, consult your authorised Porsche dealer before proceeding.

Step-by-Step Installation
Remove the Centre Console Trim Bezel
Insert a plastic pry tool at each corner of the trim bezel and work inward to release the six retaining clips one at a time. Apply steady, even pressure — never use a metal tool here, as the surrounding leather trim scratches easily.
Unscrew the Factory Screen Bracket
Using your T20 Torx screwdriver, remove all four screws from the corners of the screen mounting bracket. Gently pull the screen straight outward — do not force it at an angle — until you have enough slack to work on the connectors behind it.
Disconnect the Factory Wiring Harness
Pinch both sides of each harness clip simultaneously and pull straight back to release. Depending on your trim level, there will be two to three connectors. Set the factory screen aside on a clean, soft surface to avoid scratching.
Connect the Roadnavier Plug-and-Play Harness
Plug the included adapter into the factory harness connectors — the connectors are keyed so they can only go in one direction. Push firmly until you hear a distinct click confirming the lock has engaged. Connect the other end to the corresponding ports on the back of the Roadnavier module.
Mount the New Screen and Refit the Bezel
Slide the Roadnavier module into the bracket slot and fasten with the four T20 screws. Route the wiring neatly behind the unit so no cables are pinched. Align the trim bezel over the clip positions and press evenly around the perimeter until each clip snaps home.
Power On, Pair & Test
Insert the key and switch to ignition. The Roadnavier screen will boot in approximately 15 seconds. On your iPhone, go to Settings → General → CarPlay and select "Roadnavier" to complete first-time pairing. After this, your phone will connect automatically every time you get in.
After pairing, open CarPlay Settings on your iPhone and enable "Suggest CarPlay" for the fastest possible automatic reconnection — even if Bluetooth is toggled off. The module connects via Wi-Fi Direct, so the link is maintained independently of Bluetooth state.
