Step 1 — Remove the Factory Head Unit

Use a plastic trim tool to carefully open the center console bezel.

Unscrew the factory head unit and gently pull it out.

Disconnect all the original plugs.
Step 2 — Connect to the Factory Harness
Match the harnesses as shown in the wiring diagram:

Main Power Harness → connects to the factory power and speaker wires.

AC/Climate Panel Cable → keeps the air conditioning display and controls functional.

CAN/Protocol Plug → required for steering wheel controls and vehicle data.
-
AUX Cable → routes sound to the factory Bose amplifier.
👉 Make sure every plug clicks in place securely.
Step 3 — Plug All Cables into the Android Head Unit
Before powering on, connect all ports on the new Android screen:

Main Power Harness

GPS Antenna (place on dashboard or A-pillar for clear signal)

4G/LTE Antenna (if your unit supports 4G)

Wi-Fi Antenna (external if included)

Rearview Camera Jack (video input)

CANBUS Decoder & Jack

RCA Inputs/Outputs (front/rear camera, subwoofer, external amp)

USB Cables (for CarPlay, flash drive, DVR, wireless dongle)

External Microphone (run toward driver’s seat/A-pillar)

AUX Line (if routing audio to the Bose amp)
⚡ Pro Tip: Do not reassemble the dash until you’ve powered on and tested everything.
Step 4 — Troubleshooting Checklist

No Sound? Check the AUX cable and confirm Bose amp is connected.

AC Not Displaying? Recheck the climate cable and CANBUS connection.

Steering Wheel Buttons Not Working? Confirm CAN plug is secure and correct protocol is selected.

Black Screen / No Power? Inspect main harness and fuse.

No Reverse Camera? Verify rearview jack and reverse trigger wire are connected.
-
Weak GPS/4G Signal? Place antennas away from metal parts and high-power electronics.
