Connect the Type 2 Vehicle Harness

Type 2 uses a different harness layout from the other Maxima A35 factory head unit configurations. Match each connector to the wiring diagram below before powering on the system.

Main Power Harness

Connects the Android unit to the vehicle's main power and supported audio wiring.

AC / Climate Control Cable

Connects the factory climate-control system so supported AC information and controls can communicate with the Android unit.

CAN / Protocol Plug

Enables communication with supported vehicle functions such as steering-wheel controls and vehicle data.

AUX Audio Connection

Used for Android audio routing on vehicle configurations that require the factory AUX audio path.

Reverse Trigger Wire

Provides the reverse signal used to activate the backup-camera display when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
