Many customers prefer to have their own car logo (e.g., Acura) displayed when starting their navigation system. However, for copyright reasons, we cannot pre-install any car logos in the firmware before shipping.
The good news is — you can easily set your own startup car logo by upgrading the firmware yourself. This quick guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Firmware Upgrade Steps
Step 1: Download the Firmware

Step 2: Unzip the File
Once downloaded, unzip the file on your computer.
Step 3: Save to an Empty USB Drive
Copy the unzipped firmware file to the root directory of an empty USB flash drive.
Step 4: Connect USB to Your Device
Insert the USB flash drive into your navigation device’s USB port.
Step 5: Wait for the Upgrade to Complete
The device will automatically detect the firmware and start the upgrade. Please wait patiently until it finishes and restarts.
Step 6: Set Your Car Logo
After restarting, go to the device’s settings menu and select your desired startup logo — for example, Acura.
