The 2013–2015 Acura ILX Technology Package equipped with ELS Studio Surround Sound and DVD Navigation is the flagship trim of the 1st generation ILX. Upgrading this model gives you maximum hardware flexibility, as it is the only Acura ILX trim that fully supports both the 9.7-inch Vertical Style Screen and the 12.3-inch Floating Widescreen Display.

Because the ELS Navigation trim features a dedicated high-bandwidth video feed and mainboard harness behind the central console, you can select the display form factor that best fits your preference:
Option 1: 9.7" Vertical Screen
Integrates physical climate controls into a single Tesla-style touch interface. Replaces the rotary dial area with a clean, flush-mounted panel.
Option 2: 12.3" Floating Screen
Mounts an ultra-wide 1920x720 IPS panel over the upper dash recess, keeping navigation maps elevated in the driver's direct line of sight.
Preserving 365W ELS Studio Audio Performance

No. The OEM ELS amplifier handles active audio distribution to the center channel speaker via low-level input signals passed from the new Android DSP mainboard.
