Volvo XC60 5-Inch / Small Screen Upgrade: Can You Add CarPlay & Android Auto?
If your 2011–2014 Volvo XC60 has the smaller 5-inch factory display, you can still upgrade to a larger Android screen with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For a 2011–2014 Volvo XC60 with the smaller 5-inch factory screen, select 2011–2014 when ordering the Roadnavier 8.8-inch Android screen. This configuration requires an additional adapter/accessory, so you need to contact us with your order number after placing the order.
Is This the 5-Inch Volvo XC60 Screen?
Some 2011–2014 Volvo XC60 vehicles use the smaller factory center display. If you are not sure which screen your vehicle has, compare your dashboard with the photo below.
If your original dashboard has this smaller factory display, your XC60 can use the Roadnavier screen upgrade.
What Is Different About the 5-Inch Version?
The Android screen itself is ordered as the 2011–2014 version. The important difference is the installation kit: vehicles with the 5-inch factory display require an additional adapter/accessory.
The additional part is not required for every 2011–2014 XC60. After placing your order, contact us with your order number and tell us: “My XC60 has the 5-inch factory display.” We will prepare the correct additional part with your kit.
How Do I Order the Correct Version?
You do not need to search for a separate 5-inch-screen product. Order the standard 2011–2014 XC60 version and let us know about the factory screen after ordering.
- Select 2011–2014 on the product page.
- Select your memory configuration and Left-Hand Drive or Right-Hand Drive.
- Place your order normally.
- Contact us with your order number and tell us your XC60 has the 5-inch factory display.
What Does the Upgrade Add?
The upgrade replaces the small everyday display experience with an 8.8-inch Android touchscreen while the original Volvo head unit remains part of the vehicle system.
Installation differs by XC60 model year. The complete installation guide covers the 2011–2014 installation process and original Volvo display integration.
