1. Why Does the Upper Screen Go Black on Base Trims?
In 2013–2018 Acura RDX Base models, the top sub-display does not possess an independent ignition wake-up line from the fuse box. Instead, its ignition power signal (ACC) and composite reverse camera video feed pass directly through the original CD player/radio unit via a factory 32-pin connector.
