The Denza B8 (sold in Australia from 2025) ships from the factory with a blank decorative panel on the passenger side of the dashboard, covering a pre-wired cavity designed to accept a co-pilot entertainment display. The Roadnavier Elite 12.3" Android 14 Cinema Display for Denza B8 & Leopard 8 installs into this cavity using the vehicle's original mounting points and factory harness connectors — no cutting, no permanent wiring modifications, and no impact on dealer warranty. Installation takes approximately 25 minutes.
The Problem
Your B8 Is Already Wired for a Passenger Screen. The Factory Just Left It Blank.
Pull up to any set of lights in your Denza B8 and your passenger is staring at a slab of dark plastic. Meanwhile, the vehicles in the next lane — running the same platform — have co-pilot screens streaming Netflix, YouTube, and live navigation. The difference isn't the car. It's one panel, four screws, and a set of factory connectors that BYD/Denza left ready to go behind that blank trim.
The B8's dashboard cavity isn't an afterthought — it's purpose-built. Behind the factory blank panel, Denza pre-ran the harness and mounting structure for a passenger display. They just didn't fit one at this trim level. That's the opportunity.
Factory state: the passenger-side blank panel in a Denza B8 (AU-spec RHD). Behind this trim sits a fully pre-wired mounting cavity.
What's Behind the Panel
Factory Connectors, Four Screws, and a Screen-Shaped Hole
When you remove the B8's passenger decorative panel, you'll find the dashboard cavity already contains colour-coded harness connectors — red and yellow plugs pre-routed by the factory. There is nothing to splice, nothing to tap, no wiring diagram required. The mounting frame uses four Phillips screws on a pre-threaded bracket. The new screen drops into the exact same footprint.
After removing the blank panel: red and yellow factory harness connectors are pre-routed and waiting. No wiring modification required.

Installation Guide
Step-by-Step: Denza B8 Passenger Screen Installation
Remove the Factory Center Display
Use a plastic pry tool to carefully release the trim surround of the original center screen. Unscrew the fixing bolts on both sides, disconnect the LVDS cable and all harness connectors, and extract the screen unit. Set it safely aside — it reinstalls unchanged at the end of this guide.
Release the Passenger Trim Panel
Insert the plastic pry tool along the top edge of the passenger decorative panel. Work methodically around the perimeter, releasing the factory tension clips one by one with controlled, even pressure. Pull the panel forward — all clips release cleanly without force.

Remove the 4 Mounting Screws
With the decorative panel free, four Phillips PH2 screws are now visible on the factory mounting frame. Remove all four screws and pull the frame assembly forward and out of the cavity. The pre-wired factory harness connectors are now fully accessible.
Connect the Harness
Plug the Roadnavier screen's data harness into the factory connectors inside the cavity — connectors are keyed and colour-matched for a zero-error fit. Route the power cable through the dashboard to the fuse box under the driver's side dash and connect to an ignition-switched slot. Secure all excess cable with the included zip ties.
Mount the Screen & Refit Trim
Feed all cables neatly into the cavity, align the new screen unit with the dashboard opening, and secure using the original four mounting screws. Press the surrounding trim frame firmly until each clip engages with an audible click. No gaps, no flex.
Reinstall Center Screen & Test
Reconnect all harnesses and the LVDS cable to the factory center screen, reseat it, and tighten the fixing bolts. Refit the upper trim cover. Start the vehicle and confirm the passenger screen powers on, displays correctly, and responds to touch. Check the main display for error messages before closing out.
