❓ FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Why is there no sound after installation?

  • For NTG 4.5: Ensure the "AUX" mode is selected in the original Mercedes menu.

  • For NTG 5.0: You must plug the Audio-USB adapter into the armrest USB port and select "USB" as the audio source in the original menu.

Q2: Can I still use my original Mercedes knob (Comand Controller)?

  • Yes. Our Android system fully supports the original factory knob and steering wheel buttons to control both the Android interface and the original menu.

Q3: Does this keep the original Mercedes menu?

  • Absolutely. The system "bridges" the original signal. By long-pressing the "Back" or "Star" button, you can toggle between the Android system and the original NTG system.

Q4: Where is the best place for the GPS antenna?

  • We recommend sticking it inside the dashboard, near the top air vents, or on top of the head unit, provided it is not covered by thick metal.
