This guide covers the installation of the Roadnavier Android screen for the 2004–2008 Acura TSX / CL9 platform, including the main wiring connections, CANBUS setup, backup camera connection, factory amplifier troubleshooting, and final testing.
The system uses a vehicle-specific plug-and-play harness with built-in CANBUS processing. No factory wire cutting is required.
1. Before Installation
Prepare a plastic trim removal tool, Phillips screwdriver, 8mm/10mm socket, and a soft cloth to protect the center console.
2. Remove the Factory Radio
Carefully use a plastic trim tool to release the center dashboard trim around the factory radio. Work gradually around the panel rather than pulling from one point.
Remove the exposed mounting screws or bolts, then pull the factory radio assembly forward.
Disconnect the factory plugs one at a time and place the original unit aside.
3. Connect the Roadnavier Wiring
Connect the supplied Roadnavier harness directly to the matching factory connectors. The system is designed for plug-and-play installation and does not require cutting the original wiring.
Connect the vehicle power, ACC, ground, speaker/audio, and CANBUS connections through the supplied harness.
Mount the GPS antenna under the upper dashboard or near the windshield where signal reception is unobstructed.
Route the USB extensions into the glove box or another convenient storage area.
Connect the camera video cable to the dedicated rear-camera input when an aftermarket camera is installed.
4. Set the Correct CANBUS Protocol
After the unit powers on, configure the vehicle protocol before testing the steering wheel controls and climate information.

Save the setting and restart the system. Then test the steering wheel controls and climate display.
5. Connect the Backup Camera
If you are installing an aftermarket rear camera, connect its video signal to the BACK-CAM / REVERSE-IN input on the Roadnavier harness.
Before reinstalling the dashboard, shift into Reverse and confirm that the camera image appears correctly.
6. No Sound After Installation?
If the Android screen powers on and operates normally but there is no sound from the speakers, check the factory amplifier trigger connection first.
7. Test Everything Before Reassembly
Do not reinstall the dashboard trim until the main functions have been tested.
Once everything is working correctly, secure the wiring behind the dashboard and reinstall the trim panels.
