Nissan Maxima A35 (2009–2014) – Common Issues & Troubleshooting

Low Trim + OEM-Style Screen

Characteristics: keeps the original A/C panel; wiring harness differs from Tesla-style screen.

Issue 1: Cannot locate or connect the original A/C panel

  1. Check if the A/C adapter plug is fully inserted: follow the manual and make sure it clicks into place (Insert wiring harness diagram here:
  2. Verify the harness is correct: compare with the packing list. (Sometimes the factory modifies or ships the wrong harness.) If different, take a picture and contact us.

Issue 2: No A/C function

  • Go to Settings > Car Model/Canbus: choose the correct vehicle protocol, then restart the unit.

Low Trim + Tesla-Style Screen

Characteristics: replaces the original A/C panel; large vertical screen; fewer common issues.

Main Issue: A/C function abnormal (no display or no response)

  1. First check car model settings: Settings > Car Model/Canbus → select the correct model/protocol and restart.

 

2. If still not working → update the protocol online: connect the unit to Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot → open the App Store / Protocol Update app → update the A/C/Canbus protocol → restart and test again.
