Frequently Asked Questions — Acura TSX 2004–2008 (9.7" Android 13)
1) Will this fit my Acura TSX 2004–2008 without gaps?
Yes, it’s molded for the USDM Acura TSX (CL9) dashboard. It does not fit right-hand-drive or JDM/Euro Honda Accord (different bezel shape and vents).
2) Does it retain steering wheel controls and factory ELS amplifier?
Yes. The included CANBUS harness keeps steering wheel buttons. For cars with ELS factory amplifier, audio is retained via the provided harness; set the correct AMP option in factory settings after install.
3) Will the climate controls and status still display?
Yes. HVAC status (fan speed, temperature, mode) is shown on the new screen via CANBUS. Physical HVAC knobs/buttons continue to work as usual.
4) My car has OEM navigation. Is it compatible?
Yes. This unit replaces the OEM screen/navigation. The new system provides Android-based maps (Google Maps/Waze) and optional offline maps. OEM GPS module and mic are not reused.
5) Apple CarPlay / Android Auto — wired or wireless?
Both are supported. Use the first boot wizard to pair your phone. If wireless is unstable, plug in via USB to update firmware and re-pair.
6) How do I enable ADAS (lane warning, FCW) and dash cam?
Install the ADAS camera behind the rearview mirror, connect to the dedicated USB/ADAS port, then run in-app calibration on a level road. Keep the windshield area clean and ensure camera pitch is correct.
7) Reverse camera integration?
Supported. If you already have an aftermarket camera, connect its RCA to CAM-IN and the trigger wire to reverse 12V. If none, choose our plug-and-play camera kit.
8) Radio reception and antennas
FM/AM work with the included antenna adapter. In areas with weak signals, add an inline antenna booster (optional).
9) Sound quality (DSP) & subwoofer
Built-in DSP offers EQ, time alignment, and crossover. Subwoofer is supported via RCA output; set levels in DSP before high volume use.
10) Will I lose factory features like AUX, XM, or trip info?
Factory AUX is replaced by Android media and CarPlay/Android Auto. OEM XM is not reused (use streaming apps). Trip info is available via OBD2 apps if you add a Bluetooth OBD2 dongle.
11) Installation difficulty & tools
Most owners complete in 1–2 hours with trim tools and a Phillips screwdriver. No wire cutting. We provide a photo guide; pro install is optional.
12) Firmware & updates
System updates are delivered via Wi-Fi/USB. Keep at least 20% free storage and do not power off during updates.

Cancellation
