Although the Base trim appears to have a similar upper dash pocket, its internal mechanical frame and physical housing structure are different. The custom bezel and mounting brackets on this 12.3" screen assembly are engineered exclusively for the factory navigation (Single Screen) upper dash cavity.

Q How do I quickly confirm my RDX trim?

Look at your upper center dash: If you have EXACTLY ONE factory color navigation screen with physical buttons and a central dial below it, this 12.3" unit is 100% compatible. If you have no screen at all or two screens (upper display + lower touchscreen), it will not fit.

Q Do my steering wheel buttons still work?

Yes — OEM steering wheel controls, the factory reverse camera, and climate control displays are all fully retained through the included CANbus decoder.
