DO NOT connect the power jack until ALL connections are fully completed.

Connecting power before finishing all wiring will immediately burn out the screen and void your warranty. This cannot be undone. Follow the correct sequence below:

Step 1 — Power off your vehicle completely.
Step 2 — Connect the FCC ribbon cable to the unit.
Step 3 — Fix and secure the FCC wire in place.
Step 4 — Only then connect the power jack and remaining harness.

The dual-screen system found in 2016–2018 Technology and Advance packages has completely different wiring and will not work with this unit.
Q Will this fit my 2015 or 2016 RDX?
It depends on your trim. 2013–2015 models — all compatible (no dual-screen system existed yet). 2016 models — compatible if you have the Base or single-screen Technology Package; NOT compatible if you have the dual-screen Technology or Advance Package. Check your center console: one screen or no screen = fits. Two screens = does not fit.
Q Do my steering wheel buttons still work?
Yes — OEM steering wheel controls, the reverse camera, and climate display are all fully retained.
Q How difficult is the installation?
The plug-and-play harness makes it straightforward. If you're not familiar with car electronics, we recommend a professional installer for the best result. Always follow the FCC cable sequence before connecting power.
