Factory Audio & MOST Fiber Optic Retained
The upgrade continues to use the original BMW audio architecture rather than replacing it.
The vehicle-specific wiring works with the factory system, while the original MOST fiber-optic connection is retained and transferred to the required connection during installation.
This allows the original amplifier and factory audio system to remain part of the vehicle.
Vehicle-Specific Wiring
This is not a universal 21-inch tablet adapted to fit the dashboard. It is designed around the BMW X5 F15 / X6 F16 platform and uses vehicle-specific wiring with built-in communication for the original BMW system.
The required wiring is prepared according to the vehicle configuration confirmed before shipment. The original fiber-optic connection continues to use the factory connection.
Installation
Installation requires removal of the relevant dashboard components, connection of the supplied vehicle-specific harness and transfer of the required original connections.
The original BMW head unit remains installed in the vehicle.
