2. What This Upgrade Actually Does
The factory Q50 / Q60 center stack uses the original infotainment system. This upgrade removes the original head unit and replaces it with a vehicle-specific 12.1-inch vertical Android screen system.
Instead of adding a small external CarPlay box or mounting another display on the dashboard, the new screen becomes part of the center console.
You get a larger touchscreen interface for smartphone integration, navigation, music and Android apps while maintaining the vehicle-specific integration required by the Q50 / Q60 platform.
3. Factory Functions Retained
A screen upgrade should not mean giving up the factory functions you already use. This system is designed to retain the key original vehicle functions.
