Remove the factory center panel. Use a plastic pry tool to release the trim clips surrounding the OEM head unit and climate controls. No destructive force needed — the panel is clip-retained.

Unbolt and disconnect the OEM unit. Remove the mounting screws, slide the factory head unit out, and disconnect the wiring harness, antenna cable, and any USB/AUX connectors.
